Transatlantic Symposium 2026

A closed-door symposium structured around four sessions covering: (a) the domestic context of transatlantic relations; (b) European security and Russia; (c) the China challenge; and (d) multilateral regimes. Each session will open with an introductory brief by an IAI expert, followed by initial remarks from one US and one European discussant, before opening to a moderated discussion.
A public event, scheduled for 29 September at the Centre for American Studies (CSA), will focus on the theme America before the Midterms: Conflict and Transformation in US Politics, Economy and International Role.
